Account deletion

Delete your Save Words account

This starts a verified, permanent deletion request. You do not need to reinstall the app.

Data deleted with your account

  • Your Save Words profile and Firebase Authentication account
  • Saved words, personal notes, favorites, collections, and collection memberships
  • Your lookup history, user-specific AI usage records, and usage counters
  • User ownership links on support, subscription, and provider-event records

Limited records that may remain

Shared word explanations are not deleted because they are not owned by one user. Minimum pseudonymized store records may be retained for subscription reconciliation, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations. They no longer identify the deleted Save Words profile.

Subscriptions are managed separately

Deleting your Save Words account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel it in the store account used for purchase before deletion.

For privacy, the response is the same whether or not an account matches the email address.
